Motor vehicle safety at PHTS

PHTS is in the process of developing a Motor Vehicle Safety policy pertaining to PHTS associates driving while on company business. In the meantime, and effective immediately, PHTS associates are prohibited from texting while driving while on company business. As defined in President Obama's Executive Order 13513 (published in Tuesday's Federal Register) texting means “reading from or entering data into any handheld or other electronic device, including for the purpose of SMS texting, e-mailing, instant messaging, or engaging in any other form of electronic data retrieval or electronic data communication.” For more information on developing a Motor Vehicle Safety policy for your organization, please contact your PHTS risk management consultant.
